Babyshop, Splash & Max at Baghdad Mall: Store Dismantling & Relocation
How the Pro Site field team dismantled, protected, labeled and staged the Babyshop, Splash and Max stores at Baghdad Mall for relocation, with real photos from site.
Moving a store is not the same as moving boxes. A commercial space is full of fixtures that were built to stay put: shelving systems, counters, display units, garment rails and long wall panels. Each one has to come apart cleanly, survive transport, and go back together at the destination exactly as it was.
Table Of Content
At Baghdad Mall, our team carried out this work for three international retail brands: Babyshop, Splash and Max. Three stores, three fixture systems, one coordinated team.

The challenge
A store’s fixtures are rarely standalone. Panels connect to frames, shelves connect to brackets, and counters are built from several matching parts. If those parts are mixed up or damaged, reinstallation turns into guesswork, delays and replacement costs.
The goal was simple to state and hard to execute: take everything apart, lose nothing, damage nothing, and make reassembly straightforward.
What our team did on site

- Controlled dismantling. Fixtures were removed systematically, not all at once, so connected components stayed together as groups.
- Grouping and labeling. Smaller items were boxed by group, and every carton was labeled so it could be matched to its fixture later.
- Protection matched to each item. Garment rails were wrapped together, tables and shelving were protected, and long panels were bundled and taped flat.
- Organized staging. Protected items were laid out in clear zones so loading could run in order instead of in a rush.
Protection designed around each item

There is no single packing method that suits every fixture. Flat panels were stacked and wrapped to stop surface scratches. Cabinets were fully stretch-wrapped. Counter tops received padding at edges and corners, where most transport damage happens. Irregular items were soft-wrapped to absorb movement.
The result
Every asset was dismantled, protected, grouped and staged for movement, giving a clear handover between dismantling, storage, transport and reinstallation.
